People have been saying this since relative unknown Sarah Palin was inexplicably named John McCain’s running mate, but this weekend SNL only confirmed things when Tina Fey herself played Palin in the opening sketch. Tina Fey is one of my heroes and she is one of the funniest people in the world, so I think the weaker twin is obvious.
The other day, Jurassic Park came on TV and I noticed that Jeff Goldblum looks a bit like super sexy Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords. Yes, Jeff came first and had done some pretty rad movies (The Fly, anybody?) but Jemaine is just too hot to be anyone’s weak twin.
I couldn’t help but notice that the local Colorado film Juncture was re-branded to go along with it’s DVD release. I also couldn’t help but notice that the re-branding involved practically re-creating the poster for Wanted, starring Angelina Jolie. I think the weak twin is obvious in this scenario.

Actually, come to think of it, I don’t know who is the weak twin in this arrangement!
It seems that Johnny Depp has a new weak twin! DListed had this picture up (which they got from Socialite Life) of Josh Hartnett looking more than a little bit like Johnny Depp.
I went to go see Step Brothers last night, and noticed that Adam Scott kind of looks like Tom Cruise. It’s not a striking resemblance, but it’s enough. By the way, Scott is only the weak twin because Cruise is more of a household name and NOT because I like Tom Cruise more. Adam Scott is way cooler than Tom Cruise.
